After a season of early morning practices and fitness training, the Cornerstone Senior A Netball team did themselves and the school proud in their final this week. As the smallest secondary school in the region, the girls performed very well just to make the final.
The game was well attended and tight battle against Feilding High School. The lead changed several times, before Cornerstone lost in the final quarter 43 to 40.
Next week the team go to the Lower North Island Secondary Schools Tournament, conveniently held here in Palmerston North.
