With just under half of all cornerstone students playing sport for the school, the annual sports prize was a celebration of the community, character and team work that can develop in sports as well as athletic prowess.
Mr McDonald, Cornerstone’s Head of Sport was recognised for the numerous teams he personally looked after, as well as the school and regional sporting events he organised.
Higher honours were earned by nine students who competed at a national level in sports such as Hockey, Volleyball, Swimming and Fencing.
