“It was a wave of heat and humidity as soon as we got off the plane” said one student realising they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into.
For two weeks in July, a group of Year 13 students travelled around Vanuatu on what would be for most their first overseas and first missions trips. Some students enjoyed the physical service – planting gardens building huts, while others thrived on the classroom teaching and outreach aspects of the trip.
There were many testimonies about God speaking to the group, and about God organising in advance their paths.
“If you’re a year 12 student you should totally pray about whether God wants you to go next year.” said Caleb, who was clearly glad he went.
