CYCLONE GABRIELLE RELIEF – OUR RESPONSE
As part of the Lower North Island Community of Learning (LNICOL) – Kāhui Ako, Cornerstone Christian School has the opportunity, along with other schools in the LNICOL, to serve and assist Hastings Christian School with their efforts during this extremely difficult time. Hastings Christian School are assisting in feeding a large team of 120 Emergency Response workers at Riverbend Camp and due to food in the supermarkets being in short supply in the area, they are running very low on food to feed those who are helping on the ground.
CCS will be purchasing and delivering food supplies directly to Hastings Christian School and Riverbend Camp. Our first delivery will be for this Thursday 23rd February, with another early next week.
