Tribes

At Cornerstone Christian School, each child is assigned to one of four tribes to foster community spirit and friendly competition:

• Asher – Green
• Issachar – Yellow
• Naphtali – Blue
• Zebulun – Red

Tribes compete year-round in athletics, swimming, cross-country, team sports, bible quizzes, performing arts and other ‘tribe-day’ events. Students are encouraged to participate and compete in events wearing their tribe colours to reinforce belonging and pride.

Senior students serve as tribe leaders, mentoring younger peers and developing leadership skills. Points for participation, effort and fair play are tallied across events, with regular updates to celebrate achievements. This system builds teamwork, integrity and resilience in a Christ-centred environment.
